Delete your account

In the app

Open The Coldfile, go to Profile, then Account, and tap Delete account. Google asks you to confirm it is you, and the account is deleted right away. Google removes it from its backup systems within up to 180 days.

Without the app

Email kevin2005_10@hotmail.com from the email address of your account, or include your support code, with the subject “Delete my account”. We delete your account within 10 business days and reply to confirm it.

What is deleted

Your account in Firebase (name, email address, Google account ID and profile photo link) and the copy of your progress, notes and shelf of free cases saved in the cloud.

What is kept

The progress saved on your device stays there until you uninstall the app or clear its data. Cases you bought stay with your Google Play account and can be restored.

Your purchase record in RevenueCat, linked to your former user ID, is kept while we offer the app so you can restore your cases. Deleting your account in the app does not delete it. To have it deleted, email us with your support code and we will do it within 10 business days.

Firebase keeps the IP addresses logged at sign-in for a few weeks to prevent abuse. Google Play keeps its own purchase records under Google’s policies and for the period that tax law requires.
